HSEQ Representative (m/f/d) for our Wilhelmshaven branch (Sande)

To support the branch management and our division managers, we are looking for a committed employee for quality assurance as well as occupational safety and health and environmental protection.

The Geo Group was founded in 1997 and is today one of the leading engineering offices for marine and engineering surveying in Germany. We employ around 200 people at our locations in Germany and Poland. Thanks to our extensive specialized technology and the know-how of our employees, we offer our customers not only classic engineering surveying, but also the entire spectrum of hydrographic services at the highest level. We are also active on a project basis in many European countries.

• Support and further development of the existing HSEQ management system at the location (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2023, ISO14001:2015)
• Further development of the already established safety culture (SCL)
• Conducting audits and inspections
• Ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and company requirements
• Correspondence with authorities, coordination of inspections by authorities
• Project management
• Preparation of risk assessments
• Regular reporting to the branch management
• Regular exchange with HSEQ managers from other branches
• Planning, organizing and moderating the meetings of the occupational safety committee
• Implementation of employee training

• Completed technical training (e.g. occupational safety, construction technology, nautical engineering)
• Further training as a quality manager advantageous
• Training as a safety specialist and SiGeKo desirable
• Experience in the HSEQ area
• Good knowledge of HSE regulations and behavior-oriented occupational safety
• Preventive, active and cooperative approach
• Independent, structured and results-oriented way of working
• Written and spoken English
• Confident handling of MS Office applications
• At least a class B driver’s license
