Surveying engineer (m/f/d) for land surveying for several locations

The Geo Group was founded in 1997 and is today one of the leading engineering offices for marine and engineering surveying in Germany. We employ around 200 people at our locations in Germany and Poland. Thanks to our extensive specialized technology and the know-how of our employees, we offer our customers not only classic engineering surveying, but also the entire spectrum of hydrographic services at the highest level. We are also active on a project basis in many European countries.

Locations: Wilhelmshaven, Rostock, Stralsund (Miltzow), Hamburg, Berlin, Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Homberg (Efze), Schwabach and Bamberg

• Within the team, after an appropriate training period, you will independently carry out the organizational, technical and business management of assigned projects
• Among other things, you will plan and carry out surveying work in the field, take stock of existing facilities and infrastructure and carry out control surveys during the construction phase
• You create plans, as-built plans, site plans (e.g. on a CAD basis), digital terrain models, longitudinal and transverse profiles and mass determinations
• You acquire a high level of expertise in a specialist area of surveying in a secondary function and are available to advise other employees

• Degree in surveying, geodesy, geoinformation or a related course of study (drop-outs from the 4th semester with practical experience also have a chance)
• Professional experience desirable (we also give motivated career starters a chance)
• Detailed knowledge of AutoCAD
• Sound knowledge in the use of surveying equipment
• You have a quick mind, can improvise and have the ability to work independently
• You enjoy your job, are innovative and enjoy working in a team
• You have a class B driving license
