Future Day at GEO North-East

On 25.4. three girls had the opportunity to gain an insight into engineering and marine surveying.

On April 25, our team at GEO Nord-Ost in Stralsund (Miltzow) welcomed three curious girls as part of Future Day.

After a warm welcome and introductions, we started with a safety briefing where the girls had the opportunity to put on life jackets and survival suits.

We then dived straight into the practical side of marine surveying. After a refreshing lunch break, there was an insight into the world of engineering surveying. Equipped with a GNSS, the girls explored the site together with one of our engineers and even used a tachymeter to determine the height of our hall.

A big thank you goes to our guests for their curiosity and commitment as well as to our team who prepared for this day and took the time to give the girls an insight into our daily work.

The Future Day was a complete success for us and we are already looking forward to next year!
