GEO Ingenieurservice Nord-West achieves SCL certificate level 3
SCL stands for Safety Culture Ladder, which translates as “ladder of safety culture”.
The aim of the Safety Culture Ladder is to contribute to the continuous improvement of safe and healthy working practices and focuses on behavior and health and safety awareness.
We see the SCL as a supplement to the existing certification in accordance with ISO 45001. We already worked intensively on the development in 2019 and laid the foundations for SCL certification.
Clearly formulated principles for safety-conscious behavior form the basis. Our 6 basic safety rules were developed jointly and are therefore widely accepted.
We foster a culture of open discussion, which is the cornerstone for developing safety awareness. Healthy and motivated employees and partners are of the utmost importance to us.
The focus is therefore not only on protecting the company’s own team, but also on protecting external partners such as suppliers, subcontractors and visitors.
The certification audit, which also included a trip to an offshore wind farm, took place in spring 2021. Lloyd’s Register attests to the high level of awareness of occupational safety in the certified areas
“Marine surveys, engineering surveys and offshore services for the construction and offshore industry”.
We are delighted with the certification and already have our sights set on new goals:
We are very keen to share our experience with our partners.
The medium-term goal is to reach level 4.
