New GEO Explorer survey boat goes into service

Geo Ingenieurservice has put the 5th survey boat of the 7m class into service

The area of operation is the North Sea coast and the East Frisian and North Frisian Islands.

The boat is equipped with the latest measuring technology:

• High-resolution fan plummet MBES (Teledyne Reson Seabat T20-R IDH Dual Head)
• Two-channel single beam (Teledyn Odom Hydrographic Echotrac CV100)
• Motion Sensor MRU (IXBLUE Octans)
• DGNSS (Septentrio ObeLx-R Full)
• Optional SSS/MAG
