Safety Day in Wilhelmshaven

Our Occupational Safety Day is entering a new round.

Last week, the Safety Day for our North-West team members took place in Wilhelmshaven. The day was filled with exciting activities and important information on the subject of safety. Once again, our aim was to convey occupational safety in a practical and interesting way.

This year, the focus was on the following topics, among others:

• Launching ships safely
• Drone flights in the interior
• Safe handling of electrical tools
• Boat maneuvers such as emergency towing or rescuing people from the water
• Safe handling of the truck loading crane and road safety
• Demonstration of a life raft
• Working safely on the pier and using PPE to prevent drowning

After the work was done and a productive day was over, we were able to get together for a cozy get-together with a barbecue, drinks and music, exchange ideas, gather feedback and bring the day to a close together.
