A20 Trebeltal Bridge: Engineering survey during construction

A20 Trebeltal bridge: Repair of embankment subsidence near Tribsees

Engineering surveying during construction (from the original site to completion/opening to traffic)
Construction of structure 1 TBW North and structure 2 TBW North (RiFa Lübeck, length approx. 750m)

The entire structure has a length of approx. 1500m, runs over boggy ground conditions and includes the existing structure (Trebel Bridge) in the east.

The construction project begins in the west with structure 1 TBW North. There, deep-founded overfilled base slabs are being constructed. These will serve as a base for the road structure of the highway (length approx. 210m).

Structure 2 TBW North adjoins in an easterly direction. This will be constructed as a deep-founded multi-span structure with a two-span prestressed concrete slab beam over a length of approx. 540m and a connection to the existing structure (Trebel Bridge).

A deep-founded temporary bridge on the Szczecin highway serves to carry traffic in both directions (one lane in each direction).

Currently (as of the beginning of February 2021), the deep-foundation bored piles for both substructures have been installed and the superstructure for the 1st to 6th construction phase has already been concreted (structure 2 starting from the east).

Start of construction: April 2020
Planned end of construction for RiFa Lübeck end of 2021
