Survey boat meets helicopter

Our Geo Süd-West team carried out a very impressive assignment in Austria at the beginning of August.

We used our Barro sounding boat to carry out a storage survey using GNSS on the beautiful Lake Lünersee in Vorarlberg.

Until now, no survey data had been available for this large reservoir, which reaches a depth of around 120 m.

To make the sounding possible, our sounding boat had to be flown into the lake by a helicopter.
